Lotus chair

Product: Lotus
Manufacturer: Montis >
Designer: Simon Pengelly
Year: 2008
Architonic ID: 2021820

Lotus is a chair that provides all the style and comfort of an armchair, its arms and back forming a shared collar with lapels that fold around the seat from the floor, reminiscent of a long coat. This impression is intensified by the contrasting colours, making it appear as if the user is completely wrapped in the lined garment.
Lotus is perfect for public spaces, as visitors can tuck their bags in the space beneath the chair, which also provides additional legroom. The quality and comfort of this finely cut chair-as-armchair is ensured by our tried-and-tested deluxe foam system with a flexible metal frame.

Base
Lotus comes with small castors, oval feet and a sled base that's suitable for both hard and soft surfaces. The soft wheels and protective felt tips for the chair's legs ensure that the chair can be used safely on a hard surface.

Proportions
Lotus' proportions (w x d x h):
Chair: 61 x 59 x 79 cm
Seat height: 48 cm

Lotus M The new variant
There is also a new version of the Lotus available, Lotus M. Instead of fully upholstered sides, the chair has got a new high base. With this new base the Lotus M is lighter, without losing the great seating comfort.

Base of Lotus M
Lotus M is available with a closed base in white and black mat coating as well as mat chrome. We also offer a wooden 4 legs base in oak natural, oak carbon and oiled walnut.

Proportions
Lotus and Lotus M's proportions (w x d x h):
